Bashkortostan will be able to participate in SCO and BRICS projects due to its geographical position and production potential - Alexey Ulyukayev

UFA, 10 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Bashkortostan due to its favourable geographical position and high growth potential can count on the "rightful place" in international projects of the SCO and BRICS, the Economic Development Minister of Russia Alexey Ulyukayev said at a press briefing in Ufa on Friday. He expressed his willingness to consider the projects initiated in the region.

According to Alexey Ulyukayev, the individual directions of the republic development were discussed during the Summits events.

The approach to international cooperation in the format region to region practiced in Bashkortostan provides, according to Ulyukayev "a good potential for projects development and overall economic growth". He mentioned about holding in Ufa in September 2015 a regional summit with participation of Kazakhstan and noted that similar formats were started to be used in relations with other countries of the SCO and BRICS.
