BRICS Business Council session opened in Ufa

UFA, 8 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. In Ufa, a session of the Business Council of BRICS opened. It is carried out in the capital of Bashkortostan on the eve of the SCO and the BRICS Summits and is included in the program of Russia's presidency in BRICS. The members of the Business Council are accommodated in the Holiday Inn – Ufa Hotel.

In the first half of the day representatives of the Russian party will deliver reports. Their foreign colleagues of the BRICS Business Council will present their proposals for the agenda of the Russian presidency. It is planned to sign an annual report and declaration of investment cooperation. The declaration is prepared by the Brazilian party.

In the afternoon a meeting of members of the Business Council of BRICS with the authorities and business circles of Bashkortostan will take place at the same venue.

On July 9 at Ufa a meeting of the BRICS Business Council with heads of states will be held.

The Business Council of BRICS operates for two years - it was announced about its establishing at the V Summit of BRICS in Durban (South Africa)on March 27, 2013. It consists of five representatives from each of the five countries. The Chairman of the Russian party is the President of the RF CCI Sergey Katyrin.

Within the Business Council the strengthening of ties between the business communities of the BRICS is discussed, dialogue between the business community and representatives of government agencies is ensured.
