Bashkortostan ranks the second in housing construction in the Volga Federal District

UFA, 25 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. For five months of 2015 881,000 square metres of housing were put into operation in Bashkortostan. According to this indicator, our republic takes the second place in the Volga Federal District. The Chairman of the State Committee for Construction and Architecture Khalit Makhmudov reported this at a meeting of the government commission on sustainable economic development and social stability in the Republic of Bashkortostan, which was held in Ufa on June 24.

According to Khalit Makhmudov, accounts receivable of organizations involved in the construction, at the end of April amounted to 35.2 billion rubles, including overdue receivables - 1 billion rubles. Accounts payable amounted to 47 billion rubles.

In the beginning of the year an increase in the key indicators was marked, but Khalit Makhmudov associates it primarily with "excessive demand for real estate in the second half of 2014 and especially in the end of the year, and capital investment made in recent years in the engineering infrastructure".

In the last two months there was some decline in indicators. The slowdown in industrial production was replaced by drop - 98 percent compared to May 2014.

Also a decline in output of certain products - concrete, plaster was noted. The production of bricks, cement and insulating materials increased.

According to forecasts of the head of the State Construction Committee of Bashkiria, while the situation with decrease in demand will keep going a decline in production and shipment of products will continue. Some enterprises of the industry may stop operating.
