More than 10 billion rubles are spent for the SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa - Ruslan Mirsayapov

UFA, 10 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/.Private investors spent about 6 billion rubles for modernization of the airport complex to prepare the infrastructure for the SCO and BRICS Summits. Bashkiria received 2.5 billion rubles to accomplish the bank of the Belaya River from the federal budget, and about 2 billion 600 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for preparation of the venues - Congress Hall, Opera and Ballet Theatre. Preliminary figures for the costs of the SCO and BRICS Summits organization were reported by the Minister RB Ruslan Mirsayapov at a press conference in Ufa on Wednesday.

“The figures are not final, the summary data will be provided by the federal organizing committee after the Summits”, the minister said. “It is worth noting that funds for food and travel costs are allocated by the federal organizing committee, a part of food and accommodation costs are paid by the arriving party.”

Restaurants introduced dishes of Bashkir cuisine on the menu for guests of the Ufa Summits, hotels and catering facilities employed the staff fluent in English. A mobile application and a tourist map of Ufa are developed. As Ruslan Mirsayapov assured, guests will not have any problems with communications: a number of base cellular stations is increased in Ufa, the signal strength is increased too. All actions in case of emergencies are worked out and agreed - all systems are tested, the minister said.
