Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting of Interdepartmental Commission on increase of budget revenues of Bashkortostan

On May 28, at the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting of the Interagency Commission for increasing the revenues potential, tax and non-tax revenues of the budget of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the municipal budgets.

“Today we will discuss the problem of debt growth in the budgets of all levels. At the beginning of April, the total debt of the republic to the federal budget system reached 14.6 billion rubles. Half of them - more than 7.7 billion rubles are accounted for our consolidated budget”, Rustem Khamitov said. “There is a growing amount of debt to the republican budget. From the beginning of the year, it grew by almost 22 percent - to 1.4 billion rubles. The income tax and property tax debts increased in one and half times. The amount of accumulated debt to the state budget exceeded half a billion rubles only for 25 largest debtors as of April 1.

The Head of the Republic said that it would be necessary to understand the causes of non-payments as soon as possible.

According to Rustem Khamitov, the growth of the non-tax revenues debt is also marked. In this article, the consolidated budget of Bashkortostan did not receive more than 2.4 billion rubles, including 1.1 billion rubles of unpaid penalties for violation of traffic rules.

The Head of Bashkortostan instructed to strengthen work in this area, including to carry out inspections, analyze defaulters’ database and to simplify the procedure for fines payment.

“The budget of the republic is our common assets. The budget of the republic belongs to all citizens. Resources, which were not received by the budget, impoverish all of us. Above all it relates to people who receive less social services, do not get new social facilities, etc. Therefore, everybody have to pay taxes. All services involved in provision of timely tax revenues reception by the budget should work more efficiently,” the Head of the Republic concluded.
