Residents of Bashkortostan started to save money, more often - on airline tickets and medicines

Queries related to the desire to save money began to appear in the Yandex search engine by 17 percent more than a year ago. This is a result of search queries study conducted by Yandex in March 2015. For comparison, March 2014 was taken.

Many queries for goods and services contain the words "cheap" and "inexpensive". They account for about 0.1 percent of all Yandex queries. In most cases, people specifying "cheap" and "inexpensive" look for plane and train tickets, furniture, country houses and spas, apartments, clothes and shoes. The number of queries for cheaper drugs increased significantly - by ten times, as compared to March last year.

Cars, sporting goods, handbags and men's watches and taxi services were in the end of the rating of "cheap preferences". Yandex made an assumption that it was not common to save on these things in Bashkortostan.

The residents of the republic are also not averse to save on services too. People often ask Yandex tips to reduce the cost of electricity, gas, water, and how to save, in case of wedding or repair.
