Precious coins for the anniversary of the Central Bank are issued into circulation

UFA, 26 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Two types of commemorative coins made of precious metals are issued by the Bank of Russia to its 155th anniversary, the press service of the Central Bank informs.

A three-ruble coin of 39 millimeters diameter is made from sterling silver of 925 grade. The weight of pure precious metal is 31.1 g. The coin of 1000 rubles has a diameter of 50 millimeters and minted from gold of 999 grade, weight of pure precious metal is 155.5 g.

The silver coin has a relief image of a fragment of the facade of the Bank of Russia in Moscow, above it - a symbolic clock with a mechanism in the form of coins. A fragment of the facade of the Central Directorate of the State Bank in St. Petersburg (1860-1918) is minted on the gold coin and above it - a symbolic clock of coins and banknotes.

The coins are made of proof quality. Silver coins are issued with a circulation of 10 000 pieces, gold - 155 pieces.
