Bashkiria is listed in the top five credit-active subjects of Russia

UFA, 26 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Bashkortostan enters the top five of the most credit-active subjects of the Russian Federation. The share of the republic in the total amount of loans issued in the country at the end of the first quarter amounted to 3.27 percent. The figure is higher only in Moscow (5.9 percent), Moscow Region (4.05), the Krasnodar Territory (3.99) and the Sverdlovsk region (3.59). Such findings were made by the United Credit Bureau on the basis of credit information of 500 credit institutions cooperating with the Bureau.

The head of the Bureau Daniel Zelensky marks that the credit activity of citizens is distributed very unevenly. It depends on the general economic development of the region, the level of income of the borrower and the depth of penetration of retail lending. Large financial and industrial centres demonstrate the greatest credit activity. At the end of March nationwide the banks’ portfolios included 70.5 million loans worth more than 12.6 trillion rubles.
