For four years more than 180 billion rubles were directed to the petrochemical industry of Bashkortostan

UFA, 21 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. For four years more than 180 billion rubles were directed to the petrochemical industry of Bashkortostan. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov told reporters about it at the International Forum "Big Chemistry", which opened in Ufa on May 21.

“Production facilities are renovated, new jobs are created - this is a good result. In cooperation with Tatarstan a centre for low-tonnage chemistry is established. The same processes occur in fraternal neighbouring Tatarstan and several other Russian regions. We are giving a strong and clear impetus to the chemical industry development. There is a problem of small and medium business work loading, so we form clusters and platforms: nearly 100 Bashkir enterprises work in this direction. In 2014, they manufactured products to the amount of 14 billion rubles.

The "Big Chemistry" Forum is one of the key events in Bashkortostan Week of Petrochemical, which also includes the exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technology". The two-day forum and exhibition are held in Ufa in the framework of Russia's chairmanship of the SCO in 2014-2015, and the union of the BRICS in 2015.
