Ministry of Transport of Russia is satisfied with reconstruction progress of Ufa International Airport

UFA, 14 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Nikolay Asaul at the board of the State Committee for Transport RB in Ufa reported the successful completion of the Ufa International Airport reconstruction. "The Ufa Airport is in a good stage of readiness to the Summits. Tomorrow will be a ceremony of its opening. The main gates for guests’ arrival are made at a good level. The Ministry of Transport is satisfied with the development of the aviation industry", Nikolay Asaul said.

Recall that, the international terminal was renovated at the airport of Ufa. A modern baggage handling system is installed, the passport control is equipped with 40 cabins. The total building area is about 17 thousand square metres. The capacity of the new international airport has increased four times - up to 800 people per hour. The terminal is equipped with advanced software, advanced models of base and peripheral facilities. In addition, the second runway reconstruction was put into operation within the reconstruction of the airport.
