April inflation was 15.3 percent year-on-year in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. In April, inflation in annual terms (to April last year) was 15.3 percent in the republic, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. All-Russian figure is higher - 16.4 percent.

Consumer prices in April in the republic increased by 0.4 percent, since the beginning of the year - by 7.2 percent. In Russia they increased by 0.5 and 7.9 percent, respectively.

Statistical analysis showed slowing down inflation in the goods sector, and some acceleration - in the service sector. The average rate of change in food prices in April turned out to be zero (in March - plus 1.8 percent). Non-food products rose by 0.7 percent (in March - plus 0.9 percent), as well as services (in March - minus 0.3 percent).

Among the subjects of the Volga Federal District zero inflation in April was recorded in the Kirov region. The highest rate - 0.7 percent was recorded in the Samara region.
