Share of territory landscaping and cleaning in Bashkortostan is 43 percent - the Ministry of Ecology RB

According to the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology of Bashkortostan, currently the share of cleaning and accomplishment of the territory of the republic is 43 percent. 700 thousand people took part in the environmental campaign, which would last until May 16. 22 thousand tons of garbage were collected and transported to the landfills of municipal solid waste and dumps. The highest share of accomplishment works done was marked in Aurgazy (73 percent), Dyurtyuli (70 percent) and Sterlitamak (67 percent) regions.

In addition, to date, 12.4 thousand trees and shrubs were planted in the republic. Bizhbulyak and Bakaly regions are leaders in landscaping.

About 221 thousand square metres of pavement and fences, building facades and other elements of landscaping and accomplishment were repaired.
