VTB grants a loan to the Ufa International Airport

UFA, 20 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. VTB in Bashkortostan grants OJSC Ufa International Airport a revolving credit facility with a limit of 150 million rubles for a period of one year. The Bank won the tender conducted by the airport on the procurement website. It is planned that the loan funds will be used for the purchase of aviation kerosene.

"Ufa International Airport is currently the fastest growing regional airport and one of the most financially stable companies in the region. For us UIA is a strategically important partner because we understand a social importance of this major transport infrastructure of the republic. The airport is the main link between Bashkortostan and the federal government, the centres of other regions. It has an international status, and thus plays an important role in the development and strengthening of the key social and economic relations of Bashkortostan with other countries", the head of VTB in Bashkortostan Alexey Samsonov said.

OJSC "Ufa International Airport" is a modern aerial hub capable of accommodating aircrafts of all types. It is the first regional airport in Russia, confirming its compliance with industry standards ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations). More than 40 Russian and foreign airlines use the airport services. It has two runways with taxiways and two terminals (domestic and international) with a total capacity of 800 passengers per hour.
