Household appliances and cars have become less affordable to residents of Bashkortostan

UFA, 15 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Purchasing capacity for household appliances decreased among Bashkortostan residents. This is evidenced by studies conducted by Bashkortostan Statistics Agency for a period from September to December 2014.

For example, the ability to buy a refrigerator for the period decreased by 23.1 percent, a washing machine - by 20.4 percent, a colour TV - by 27.6 percent, passenger domestic car - by 11.9 percent, import car - by 16.4 percent.

The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency informs that in 2014, largely due to lower energy prices and sanctions a deterioration of the economic situation and, accordingly, decline in real incomes was observed. This most clearly was demonstrated by the end of the year. Growth in consumer prices led to a decline in purchasing capacity.
