Housing construction showed a 30 percent increase in Bashkortostan in the first quarter

UFA, 10 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The volume of housing construction amounted to 529.7 thousand sq m in January-March - by 29.7 percent more than the comparable figure of 2014, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

In absolute terms Bashkortostan takes the second place among the subjects of the Volga Federal District, behind Tatarstan (573.8 thousand sq m). In relative terms - the construction of housing per capita – our republic shares the fourth place with the Samara region (130 sq m per inhabitant). The leaders are Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk region and Udmurtia.

Private developers prevail in the structure of housing - 64.3 percent of all housing commissioned in the region, or 340.7 thousand sq m (plus 9.1 percent compared to January-March 2014) are accounted for them. Businesses and organizations doubled the result of the first quarter of the last year, having built 189 thousand sq m of housing.
