Government of Bashkiria and VTB 24 concluded a cooperation agreement

UFA, 9 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. An agreement between the Government of Bashkortostan and VTB 24 is concluded on Thursday in Ufa. It outlines specific areas of cooperation in several key areas. The document was signed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov and Vice President - Chairman of the Board of VTB24 Vyacheslav Vorobyov.

Issues of cooperation between the region and the Bank in financial support of small and medium-sized businesses, mortgage lending and implementation of a comprehensive program of cooperation with public sector organizations were discussed at the meeting.

In particular, according to the Vice President VTB 24, the bank presented its proposals for supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

Today VTB24 serves more than 2,700 clients - legal entities and business owners. In 2015, the bank plans to start lending to entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Regional Guarantee Fund and the Agency for Loan Guarantees.

Another key area is mortgage lending. According to Vyacheslav Vorobyov, at the national labour market there is a shortage of highly qualified specialists, and a joint project with the mortgage "interest rate subsidy for certain categories of professionals" would enhance human resources, in such spheres as health or education.

The issue of service by the Bank VTB 24 of public sector employees was also discussed at the meeting.
