Inflationary processes slowed down in Bashkiria - statistics

UFA, 8 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Since the beginning of the year, inflation in the republic amounted to 6.7 percent, the average figure for Russia is 7.4 percent, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. On the annual basis (March 2015 to March 2014), inflation in the republic developed at 15.9 percent, 16.9 percent as a whole across the country.

During the first quarter statistics observe slowing down of inflation. In January prices in the regional consumer market increased by 3.4 percent to the previous month, in February - by 2.3 percent, and in March - by 1 percent.

In March, food prices grew by 1.8 percent, non-food - by 0.9 percent. In the services sector a decrease to the previous month by 0.3 percent is marked.
