Ufa advertising market amounted to 1.8 billion rubles in 2014

UFA, 1 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. The Association of Communication Agencies of Russia published data on the volume of advertising markets of 13 largest megacities, with the exception of Moscow.

The total volume of the advertising market in Ufa in four segments is estimated in 1 billion 794 million rubles – with a seven percent increase compared with 2013 year, including the advertising on TV - 476 million rubles, radio - 170 million, in press - 516 million, the outdoor advertising - 632 million rubles.

In Yekaterinburg the volume of the regional market amounted to 3.6 billion rubles, in Kazan – to 2.7 billion, in Samara and Chelyabinsk - to 2 billion rubles. St. Petersburg leads in the list of 13 top cities – its advertising volume exceeded 12 billion rubles in 2014. The total volume of advertising in selected cities accounted for more than 38 billion rubles without VAT.

Michael Bresler, associate professor of Bashkir State University, commented on the study having forecasted a decline in the outdoor advertising market and stability in the segment of online advertising for the next two or three years. Among problems of this sphere he named low activity of youth advertising community, despite the fact that the people with specialized education are now working in advertising.
