Uchaly Mining Plant bought a 100-percent stake of Sibay Mining Plant

UFA, 27 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. On March 26, JSC "Uchaly Mining and Processing Plant" signed a transaction with JSC "Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company" on acquiring a 100-percent stake of "Sibay Mining and Processing Plant". The transaction amount is 3.45 billion rubles, according to the materials of Uchaly Mining Plant.

JSC "Uchaly Mining and Processing Plant" is an enterprise of resource complex of "Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company". It is engaged in extraction of copper-pyrite ores and production of copper, zinc concentrate, sulfur pyrite flotation. In February, LLC "UMMC-Holding" increased its share in Uchaly Mining and Processing Plant to 52.68 percent.
