Renovated International Terminal of Ufa Airport will be launched in a test mode in late March

UFA, 12 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. It is planned to open the international terminal of Ufa Airport in a test mode in late March - early April. This was announced by the Deputy Director for Construction of the Ufa Airport Vyacheslav Shulga.

According to Vyacheslav Shulga, the level of comfort for passengers will correspond to the category "C» IATO. At the current growth rates in passenger traffic the needs of passengers on quality of service will be provided until 2030.

Currently, the existing airport terminal is able to serve 200 passengers per hour, with the introduction of the new terminal its capacity will increase to 800 people per hour. The estimated cost of construction and installation works was just over one billion rubles; the border checkpoint cost 260 million rubles. The territory will be accomplished fully by the Summits.

The summer schedule of Ufa Airport is formed on the basis of the last year rates. Despite a significant decline in passenger traffic on international routes, it is still possible to fly from Ufa to Turkey, Egypt, Cyprus, Tunisia, Italy and Greece. In the summer 2015 carriers predict a rise in popularity of domestic resorts and increase the frequency of flights to the southern regions. "Taimyr" airline and "Orenburg Airlines plan to make flights from Ufa to Anapa twice a week. Once a week it will be possible to fly by "Yamal" airline to Krasnodar. Sochi became one of the most popular destinations last year. It is assumed that the capital of Russian resorts will keep its leading positions in 2015. Just three of the carriers announced flights on this route twice a week - the "Orenburg Airlines", "Pobeda", "Transaero". The last two companies will carry out flights to Sochi from Ufa airport for the first time. "Ikar" airline (once a week), «Red Wings» (three times a week) and "Orenburg Airlines" (twice a week) scheduled flights to Crimea (Simferopol).
