UFA, 26 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Most residents of Bashkortostan exercised their right to free privatization of housing. This was reported by the head of the Directorate of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) in Bashkortostan Igor Shelyakov at a press conference at Bashinform News Agency on February 26.
“In general, those citizens of the republic, who wanted to register the privatization of housing, have already done this. Only those remained who may live in emergency or dilapidated houses and are waiting for resettlement,” the Head of the Russian Rosreestr said.
According to him, currently 1 158,000 citizens of the republic have privatized their housing. The department forecasts that 10-15 thousand people more will take advantage of free privatization before March 1 2016.
Recall that the State Duma adopted in the final reading a bill extending the deadline for free privatization of housing up to March 1, 2016.
