Moody's International Agency downgraded the rating of Bashkortostan

UFA, 25 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Moody's International Agency downgraded the ratings of 11 Russian regions, four cities and three issuers associated with the government, and put them towards further ratings downgrade, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the press release from the agency.
According to the press release, these rating actions were due to a decrease in Russia's sovereign rating to speculative «Ba1» with «Baa3».
In particular, the rating of Moscow and St. Petersburg was downgraded to «Baa3» to «Ba1» with a negative outlook.
In addition, the rating of the Moscow region was affirmed at «Ba2», outlook negative. The rating of Chuvash Republic and the Omsk region was affirmed at «Ba3» with a negative outlook, and the rating of Omsk was affirmed at «B1», the outlook also negative.
The credit rating is an independent assessment of one or another issuer’s creditability by a rating agency, on which market participants can make informed financial decisions.
