Organizing committee meeting of the 5th International Forum "Big Chemistry" was held in Moscow

UFA, 18 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulchachak Khannanova/. The plenipotentiary representative office of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow hosted a joint meeting of the organizing committee of the 5th International Forum "Big Chemistry" and expert community associated with the development of chemical and petrochemical industry in Russia. This forum will be held in Ufa on May 21-22, 2015, and promises to be one of the most significant business events of the year in the republic.
The 5th International Forum "Big Chemistry" will be held in Ufa in the framework of Russia's presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2014-2015. The main organizer of the forum is the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
It is expected that it will be attended by over 800 delegates, including heads of the leading companies in Oil and Gas Complex of Russia and foreign countries, business associations and governments, leaders of expert and scientific communities, as well as official international and regional delegations, first of all, representatives of the SCO and BRICS. The "Big Chemistry" Forum will be one of the activities of the "Week of Petrochemicals in Bashkortostan" (May 20-23), which also includes the 13th International Specialized Exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technology". The "Big Chemistry" Forum and "Gas. Oil. Technology" exhibition are included in the action plan of Russia's presidency in the SCO in 2014-2015, approved by the President of the Russian Federation.
Participation in the 5th "Big Chemistry" International Forum is already confirmed by representatives of the largest Russian companies of petrochemical industry ("Lukoil", "Rosneft", "Gazpromneft", RUSNANO), heads of Russian regions (the Republic of Tatarstan, Samara and Tyumen regions, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District ), official delegations and companies from the countries of CIS and foreign countries (Kazakhstan, Armenia, Germany, Switzerland, China), representatives of scientific and professional associations and unions (the National Agrochemical Union, Boreskov Institute of Catalysis RAS, Scientific Research Engineering Centre "Synthesis", Russian Association of Plastics Processors, National Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute", the Gubkin’s Russian State University of Oil and Gas).
