Number of pensioners increased by 15.9 thousand people in Bashkiria in 2014

UFA, 18 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. As of the beginning of January 1123.1 thousand pension recipients are registered in Bashkortostan. Over the last year their number increased by 15.9 thousand people, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency calculated by analyzing the data of the Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the republic.

1023.5 thousand of them are entitled to labour pensions: old age (925 thousand), disability (44.6 thousand) and the survivor pensions (53.9 thousand). Others receive state-provided pensions.

The average pension is 10286.9 rubles per month in Bashkortostan at the beginning of January (previous year it was 9,437.8 rubles). Old age retirement pension is on average 10895.2 rubles per month (9712.7).
