Ufa Airport named the most punctual airlines

UFA, 17 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The Ufa International Airport named the airlines with a minimum amount and minimum duration of flight delays. The analysis was done in four categories of carriers. The defining criterion was compliance with the departure schedule, the press service of the Ufa aviation hub informs.

Among carriers operating more than 1,200 flights a year, Aeroflot became the most punctual company (1427 departures, 3 points). In the category of up to 1,200 flights S7 Sibir airline was the leader (1101 departures, 1 point). In the category of up to 600 flights the best result was shown by Orenburg Airlines (405 departures, 1 point). Among foreign carriers Turkish Airlines was distinguished with punctuality (343 departures, 2 points).

The duration of the delays was estimated with points: 0 – less than 20 minutes, 1 point - less than 1 hour, 2 points - less than 3 hours, 3 - less than 6 hours, etc. The lower was the overall score, the higher was the rate assigned to the airline.

JSC Ufa International Airport is a modern aviation hub capable of accommodating aircraft of all types. It serves more than 40 Russian and foreign airlines.
