Kronospan is recruiting staff in Bashkiria

UFA, 12 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. On Saturday, February 14, LLC "Kronospan Bashkortostan" (part of the Austrian holding company Kronospan) conducts a job fair at "VDNkH-Expo" in Ufa. The start of production is scheduled for May-June, according to the materials of the Government of the Republic.

The company will be engaged in deep processing of wood. The technology will allow to process low-grade, technological wood and waste wood production to obtain wood chipboards.

According to preliminary estimates, the total investment in the project amounted to 8.5 billion rubles. In the long term, with the further development of production, investment could rise to 17 billion rubles. 250 jobs will be created at the main production and further the staff will reach 600 people. The Government RB expects that the largest wood production will stimulate the development of related industries (forestry, furniture making, transportation, etc.), which will result in creation of more than 4 thousand new jobs.
