Five percent increase in number of mortgage deals is marked in Bashkiria in 2014 - Rosreestr

As the head of the Directorate of Rosreestr (Federal State Statistics Service) in Bashkortostan Igor Shelyakov informs, in 2014 the number of mortgage registration deals increased by five percent compared with 2013 year and amounted to 71 141. The data were presented at the enlarged board meeting of the department on February 12.

“Against the backdrop of total number of registration actions a trend of growth of mortgage state registration is observed. The overall increase of residential mortgage loans granted by credit institutions to the population, as well as the acquisition of premises using maternity capital contributed to this fact”- Igor Shelyakov said.

According to the head of the Directorate of Rosreestr, consumer expectations of rising interest rates on housing loans in 2015 could also affect the number of mortgage transactions.

The number of registered mortgage operations in January of this year was at the same level as in January 2014, informed the Head of the Federal State Statistics Service in Bashkortostan.
