Russian government has put forward candidates for the Bashneft’s Board of Directors

UFA, 10 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The Russian government has published a list of candidates for the Board of Directors of JSOC Bashneft on Tuesday.

In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, ten candidates are offered for the Board of Directors of the oil company. As representatives of the Russian Federation named the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic Rustem Mardanov, Minister of Land and Property Relations of Bashkortostan Republic Evgeny Guryev, the head of the Federal Property Management Agency Vitaly Sergeichuk, the First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Teksler, the President, chairman of the JSOC Bashneft Alexander Korsik, the President of the public organization "Russian Geological Society" Victor Orlov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Interstate Oil Company "SoyuzNefteGaz" Yuri Shafranik. Candidates for independent directors are the board member of the company KAZ Minerals PLC Charles Watson, the member of the board of directors of IG Seismic Services PLC Maurice Dizhol and CEO Considine Solutions Pty Ltd Anthony Considine.

Candidates for inclusion in the Audit Commission were also put forward.

The meeting of Bashneft shareholders, at which the Board of Directors and the Audit Commission will be re-elected, to be held on March 11.

The Russian Federation owns 84.4 percent stake in JSOC Bashneft.
