Bashkir Branch of Agricultural Bank financed agribusiness in the region for over 11 billion rubles in 2014

UFA, 29 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Bashkir regional branch of JSC "Russian Agricultural Bank" (Rosselkhozbank) sent more than 11 billion rubles in 2014 to finance agricultural sector of the republic. The Bank issued loans to farmers of the region in the amount of about 5.3 billion rubles, including for seasonal field work.

One of the priorities of agribusiness lending is financing of investment projects. By the end of 2014 in the region 551 investment projects were implemented with support of the Bank with total lending of about 3 billion rubles. Loans were granted for construction, reconstruction, acquisition of equipment and modernization of livestock complexes and poultry enterprises.

"Bashkir Branch of the Russian Agricultural Bank will continue to expand lending to projects in the agricultural sector, implementation of which will contribute to the further effective development and increase in investment attractiveness of domestic agriculture. This is particularly relevant under conditions of ensuring food security and import substitution. In addition, we are ready to support other segments of the real sector of the regional economy", the deputy director of the Bashkir regional branch of JSC "Russian Agricultural Bank" Robert Biktimirov said.
