Prototyping Centre will stimulate unique petrochemical products output in Bashkortostan

UFA, 28 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. In Ufa, a Prototyping Centre of Bashkortostan Republic is launched at SUE "Oil Refining Institute of Bashkortostan Republic". It is a technical-industrial complex, where a complete system of the desired product manufacturing in the field of petrochemicals can be created - from development of technology and computer design to prototyping of petrochemical products and goods.
“The equipment, which is available in the Centre, mostly has no analogues in Russia,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Dmitry Sharonov said at a meeting with journalists in the conference hall of Bashinform News Agency on Tuesday. “It allows making a huge amount of research, analysis of petrochemical products and enables producing similar products, if they are not manufactured in the Russian Federation.”
The Prototyping Centre helps to recognize a formula of any product and create new technology of its production. “By the end of 2015, with all pilot sites launched, we will be able to make more than 50 thousand tests and experiments a year”, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
According to the director of Oil Refining Institute of Bashkortostan Republic Elshad Telyashev, production technology of several products that currently are purchased abroad has been already created at the Centre.
“We have created a special additive for diesel fuel”, Elshad Telyashev informed. “These additives are imported by all our country. The product has passed all stages of testing, proved itself magnificently, and today we are looking for a company that will undertake its production. This is a large-scale production.”
As explained by the Director of the Institute, the technology of anti-turbulent additives is on the way. It is also imported by our country. This additive is widely used in transportation of oil and oil products.
It is supposed that the next stage will be establishing of an engineering centre at the Oil Refining Institute. It must become a centre of a territorial petrochemical cluster, which, in addition to a cluster of small-scale petrochemical engineering and oil & gas engineering cluster, will bring together large petrochemical enterprises.
According to Dmitry Sharonov, about 1.4 billion rubles were allocated for development of innovation infrastructure in Bashkortostan in 2014, 80 percent of the funds was received from the federal budget. In 2015, work on attracting federal grants will be continued.
