"Bashautotrans" purchased 176 buses on natural gas

UFA, 23 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov. During the renovation of the bus fleet "Bashautotrans" company purchased buses on natural gas in 2014. 176 machines run on routes across the republic. New vehicles are purchased as a leasing transaction at Pavlovsk car factory.

Vehicles run on natural gas, some buses use methane, others - propane. The choice of alternative fuel vehicles the company explains its efficiency and higher environmental friendliness.

“Buses are equipped with gas equipment, GLONASS navigation system. All vehicles will be serviced in specialized technical centres. Warranty is given for 60 thousand km, or two years”, the deputy director of the supplier of buses Alexander Gubkin said.

Each bus is designed for 39 passengers. New vehicles are launched in the suburban and intercity routes Uchaly, Tuymazy, Sterlitamak, Sibay, Salavat, Neftekamsk, Meleuz and other districts of the republic.

In early 2015 "Bashautotrans" plans to buy about 30 more buses on natural gas.
