Bashneft increased oil production by 10.8 percent, processing - by 1.2 percent in 2014

In 2014 Bashneft produced 17.8 million tons of oil, including about 1.5 million tons - in the fields of Timan-Pechora and Western Siberia. In Bashkortostan an increase of 3.9 percent was reached, over 16 million tons were produced. The total volume of oil production exceeded the level of 2013 by 10.8 percent, Bashneft reports.

Average daily production amounted to 51.3 thousand tons per day in the fourth quarter.

In 2014 Bashneft oil refineries processed 21.2 million tons of oil, which is 1.2 percent more than in 2013. Commodity output increased by 1.5 percent - to 19.9 million tons. Average annual rate of refining depth was 84.9 percent, the yield of light oil products - 61.1 percent.

The gasoline output increased by 2.6 percent - up to 5 million tons, while the output of diesel fuel remained flat year-on-year.

In the fourth quarter Bashneft significantly increased the production of gasoline (12.5 percent) and diesel fuel (3.5 percent), and reduced production of vacuum gas oil (25.4 percent) and oil (7.5 percent). The company attributed this to the commissioning of a new hydrogen production unit at the Bashneft-Novoil Branch, which significantly increased the throughput of conversion processes at the refineries in Ufa.

By the end of 2014 production of Euro-5 gasoline increased by 30.7 percent - up to 4 million tons, diesel fuel Euro-5 - by 26.6 percent, to 2.7 million tons.
