Ufa International Airport recorded an increase in passenger traffic by 7.3 percent in 2014

UFA, 19 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. 2 million 380.6 thousand people took advantage of services of Ufa International Airport in 2014. This is by 7.3 percent higher than a year earlier, according to the press service of the airport. Of these, 1.6 million people were passengers of domestic flights, 748 000 – of international flights.

Most popular domestic destinations were Moscow, Nizhnevartovsk, Sochi and Simferopol. Within the Volga Federal District the most popular route was Ufa - Kazan. Leaders of tourist destinations were Antalya, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Barcelona, Larnaca.

The volume of freight traffic increased by 3.8 percent and amounted to 3.7 thousand tons. Thus it increased significantly on international routes - by 41.3 percent, to 457 tons. Domestic freight volume remained at the level of 2013 - 3.24 tons.

JSC Ufa International Airport is a modern aviation hub capable of accommodating aircrafts of all types. It has two runways with taxiways and a terminal building consisting of two terminals with the total capacity of 800 passengers per hour.
