Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan discussed the implementation of agricultural development state program for 2015

UFA, 13 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan discussed the development plans of the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Republic of Bashkortostan".

The Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Nikolay Kovalenko said that this year the document included a number of new sub-programs: "Development of open and protected soil horticulture and seed potato growing", "Development of dairy farming", "Support for breeding and seed farming ", "Development of wholesale distribution centres and infrastructure of social feeding ","Development of financial and credit system of agro-industrial complex".

In addition, the state program provides to support import substitution in the domestic market. For this purpose subsidies will be allocated for keeping breeding stock and meat landed cattle, for compensation costs associated with construction and modernization of dairy farms and greenhouses, vegetable stores, potato storage facilities, fruit storage facilities, plant-breeding stations, as well as construction of the wholesale distribution centres. In addition, it is planned to provide farmers assistance in development of agricultural cooperatives.

It should be noted that the state program is funded from the federal budget in the amount of 187.9 billion rubles in 2015.
