Economy of Bashkiria is characterized by sustainable development in 2014

UFA, 31 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov at a meeting with journalists of federal and republican mass media named a number of macroeconomic indicators that characterized a sustainable development of the region's economy in 2014.

“First of all, it relates to gross regional product. It will be about 102,5-103 percent compared to the previous year. Index of industrial production will amount to plus 3-3.5 percent compared to the previous year. Our revenues are higher than the last-year ones by 6.7 percent. I have just looked through the statement on receipts from taxes – the funds are going to come. December taxes will amount to about 8-8.5 billion rubles, and for the year they will be about 100 billion rubles”, Rustem Khamitov said.

The Head of the Republic marked that these indexes were quite good and the same can be said about the regional macroeconomics as a whole.
