Average wage of Bashkortostan inhabitants lagged behind the inflation in October - statistics

UFA, 24 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The average wage of employees of enterprises and organizations of Bashkortostan amounted to 24 973.7 rubles in October. In nominal terms, it grew by 7.1 percent compared with October 2013, and in real terms - decreased by 0.9 percent, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

Nominal wage is determined by dividing the accrued wages fund to the number of employees. Statisticians determine real wage index by dividing the index of nominal wage to the consumer price index.
