Bashkortostan Government approved development of petrochemical territorial cluster

UFA, 18 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Bashkortostan Government approved the program "Development of Petrochemical Territorial Cluster of Bashkortostan Republic" for 2014-2016 years. It aims to improve the use of scientific and industrial potential in petrochemical, oil and gas refining industries, biochemistry and biotechnology.

The program provides targeted indicators. The number of high-performance workplaces will be increased from 1102 in 2013 to 1560 in 2016. The volume of investment expenses of cluster members will grow over the same period from 57.9 billion rubles to 91.17 billion rubles, the amount of research performed by them - from 842 million rubles to 921 million rubles. The volume of innovative products shipped by cluster members will increase from 22.3 billion rubles to 35.39 billion rubles.

The Engineering Centre will become a key object of innovation infrastructure cluster. Its anchor is now SUE "Oil Refining Institute of Bashkortostan Republic".

The total amount of the program financial support will be 52.13 billion rubles, including 51.99 billion rubles - from extra-budgetary sources (JSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat ", JSC "Caustic", JSC "Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant", etc.). The main funding accounts for 2014: 51.45 billion rubles - from extra-budgetary sources, 123.5 million rubles - from the federal budget, 13.7 million rubles - from the national budget.
