Bashkortostan business delegation is in Azerbaijan

UFA, 17 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The trade and economic mission of Bashkortostan is paying a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The organizer of the visit is Euro Info Advising Centre - Republic of Bashkortostan (EIAC - RB). According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkortostan, the delegation includes representatives of 11 oil and gas and engineering companies.

One of the first points of the program was a visit to Sumgayit Technopark. It focuses on the development of electricity, reconstruction and modernization of energy enterprises, creating conditions for competitive products export.

“Technopark, of course, is impressive”, the vice-president of CCI RB Pavel Barmin informs. “Its territory is 45 hectares, and the area of factory buildings located in the park is 140 thousand square metres.”

According to the EIAC, businessmen took part in B2B negotiations. A meeting with the acting trade representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Azerbaijan Eldar Tlyabichev took place. Members of the delegation signed an agreement with AZPROMO (Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund). On December 17, Bashkortostan entrepreneurs will hold a series of individual meetings with Azerbaijani partners.
