316 million rubles will be invested in the "Urban Train" project in Ufa

UFA, 16 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. 316 million rubles will be invested in the "Urban Train" project: 240 million rubles from Ufa administration, 76 million rubles from the Kuibyshev Railway Directorate. This was reported by the mayor of Ufa Irek Yalalov at a meeting on the city transport system development, which was held by the President of the republic Rustem Khamitov yesterday.

Implementation of the "Urban Train" project on the route Dema - Ufa - Shaksha started in 2013. Currently, works are underway to implement this program.

Investors are attracted to participate in the project. Road maps are developed to put into service "Dema" and "Shaksha" stations with construction of transport interchange complex. It is necessary to organize the transport interchange hubs "Gastello", "GDK", "Voronki - South Bus Terminal", "Right bank of the River White – TV Centre". Transport interchange hubs will be equipped with escalators, moving travelators and elevators.

Such transport structure in conjunction with the commuter train and a network of tramways will include about 30 interchange stations, which will allow residents of Ufa to get an easy access to any part of the city.
