Ministry of Finance of Bashkortostan repaid Sberbank loan of more than 1 billion rubles

UFA, 9 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The Ministry of Finance of Bashkortostan fully repaid the principal sum of the loan granted by JSC "Sberbank of Russia" in 2011 - 1 billion rubles and accrued interest on it, the press service of the department informs. The loan was issued to cover a part of the regional budget deficit.

The Bashkortostan Government underlines that the republic constantly confirms the status of the region with the highest quality of public debt management. This fact was noted, in particular, at the twelfth Russian Bond Congress in St. Petersburg on December 4-5.

As of December 1, the public debt of Bashkortostan Republic is 24.22 billion rubles, including 13.1 billion of government securities, 6.1 billion of budget loans, 4.5 billion - bank loans in rubles, 509, 2 million rubles of state guarantees. The cost of the public debt servicing totaled 842.7 million rubles as of December 1.
