Solution of legal labour problem will be motivated economically in Bashkiria municipalities

UFA, 5 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Participants of republican Coordinating Council proposed to encourage municipalities for solving the problem of legal labour relations. The meeting chaired by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan Lenara Ivanova took place on Friday. The meeting was attended by the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Chechevatov.

According to the data of the Russian Ministry of Labour, given by Andrey Chechevatov, 31.3 percent of 2.5 million insured persons of working age are not employed in the legal economy in Bashkortostan. This is higher than the nationwide index by 5.8 percent. In addition, because of the shadow schemes regional budget annually loses about 10 billion rubles.

“We should start to solve this problem from the level of municipalities,” Andrey Chechevatov said.

It is expected that this issue will be discussed at a coordination meeting with the Chief Federal Inspector in Bashkortostan in March next year. The heads of municipalities of the republic will be also invited there.
