Ufa restaurants will be checked for readiness to SCO and BRICS Summits
UFA, 4 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The restaurant business of the capital of our republic will be monitored for its readiness to receive guests in connection with the upcoming SCO and BRICS Summits 2015. This was reported by the first Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Bashkortostan on Trade and Consumer Protection Guzel Asylova at a meeting with restaurateurs.
It is expected that a working group consisting of representatives of Ufa administration, State Committee and regional associations of restaurateurs and hoteliers will inspect exterior outlook of institutions, landscaping of adjacent territories and the level of service.
“A special monitoring was conducted to assess the current situation, which showed that 40 percent of establishments had menus in English and 20 establishments had local food specified in their menus. In the summer during the guests visits, public catering institutions should focus on the Russian and Bashkir cuisine, even if European dishes usually prevail on their menus” Guzel Asylova said.
To ensure an adequate level of catering operations the State Committee of Bashkortostan prepared specific recommendations for Ufa restaurateurs. The conformity of enterprises with all criteria must be provided before April 1, 2015.
In addition, special courses for the staff training will be organized in Ufa since the beginning of 2015.
