In Bashkiria housing construction amounted to the maximum in Volga Federal District 2 million sq m

From January to October, 23,7 thousand apartments with a total area of 2 million 71.4 thousand sq m were commissioned in the republic. The volume of housing construction increased by 11.7 percent compared to the same indicator of 2013, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

Bashkortostan takes the first position in the Volga Federal District on commissioning of residential buildings in January-October. It is followed by Tatarstan (1,97 million sq m). The top five also includes Samara (1,09 million sq m), Nizhny Novgorod (1 million sq m) and Saratov (0.9 million sq m) Regions.

73.3 percent of commissioned housing is accounted for individual developers in Bashkortostan. At their own expense and with attraction of loans they built 13.4 thousand of houses with total area of more than a half million sq m (plus 4.4 percent compared to January-October 2013).

For ten months of this year businesses and organizations of the republic entered into operation 553.6 thousand sq m of housing – by 38.2 percent more than in the same period of the last year. Of these, 59.5 thousand sq m are related to the housing of economy class.
