Wholesale distribution centre of agricultural products will be built near Ufa

UFA, 14 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. In the near future construction of a logistics centre to supply food products manufactured in the republic will be built near Ufa. This was reported by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov in his interview to "Selskaya Zhizn" newspaper.

"The project of construction of wholesale agricultural products distribution centre near Ufa has been discussed for several years. Farmers could supply their products here, and buyers - shops, restaurants, markets - could have an opportunity to buy fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, milk. It could solve at once the problems of storage, transportation, further sales. I think that the first stage of such facility should appear in 2015", the President RB said.

According to Rustem Khamitov, a necessity to build the wholesale distribution centre near Ufa is predetermined by its geographical position: our republic occupies a key place in the supply circuit of the country. "Experience of a logistics centre of one trading chain in Sterlitamak clearly shows that the republic in this case will be able to provide not only local needs, but also to make deliveries to many other regions. There should be as many as possible of such facilities".
