Paper and cardboard production line with capacity of 70 tons per day is launched in Sterlitamak

UFA, 11 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The "South Ural" company, the resident of "Inmash" park in Sterlitamak entered into equipment supply contract for cardboard and paper production with Chinese JS Corrugating Machinery Co. Ltd. Transaction amount is US $ 3.5 million, according to the materials of the Technopark. The document was signed in early November as part of Business Days of Bashkortostan Republic held in China.
According to the Technopark, the new production line will reduce the cost of corrugated packaging, manufactured in Sterlitamak since 2009, by four times. Waste paper and bleached pulp will serve as raw material. The equipment capacity fitted with a two-stage cleansing system is 70 tons per day. The technique provides to manufacture 240 m of cardboard and paper for corrugating per minute.
The contract covers a full cycle of works on installation, commissioning, testing equipment and staff training. Expansion of production will create 130 new jobs. The launch of Sterlitamak production line is scheduled for 2015.
The "South Ural" is a venture to manufacture corrugated packaging operating since 2009.
"Inmash" is a Technopark established in 2009 and located at "Inmash" Concern premises. The total area of production facilities with engineering infrastructure is more than 110 thousand sq m. The main residents are "Inmash" Concern (engineering), "South Ural" (packaging production), "Transtekhnika" (metal processing), "Rusfiltr" (production of automotive filters) and Sterlitamak mechanical plant.
