UMPO specialists won medals of WorldSkills Olympiad
UFA, 6 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Medals of various grades were won by UMPO experts at the National Championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech. Competitions on 11 competencies were held in Yekaterinburg from October 30 to November 3.
As the UMPO press service reports, gold medal in the "Prototyping" category was won by the maintenance and test engineer Stanislav Egorov. He can expect to participate in the world championship WorldSkills International, which will be held in Sao Paulo (Brazil) in 2015. The decision will be taken by the organizing committee WorldSkills Russia - it forms the Russian team.
"Silver" in the nomination "Prototyping" went to the principal design engineer Igor Rychkov.
The design engineer Mikhail Maximov was awarded a silver medal in the "Engineering Graphics in CAD» category. His colleague Timur Sultanov did not have just one point to get "bronze".
In the team count the United Engine Corporation, which included experts of the Ufa enterprise ranked second among the holdings of Rostec State Corporation. The WorldSkills Russian national team was the first.
Also as part of the championship a competition in rapid equipment revamping was held. UEC team defeated the Rosatom team in it.
JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" is the Russian largest manufacturer of aircraft engines. It is engaged in development, manufacturing, service and repair of turbojet engines and pumping units, production and repair of helicopters units. It is included in the United Engine Corporation (UEC) — a wholly owned subsidiary of JSC OPK "Oboronprom" on engine assets management.
