SCO BRICS Office Group: Ufa amphitheatre will retain its function as an open air venue

UFA, 5 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Ufa amphitheatre will retain its function as an open air venue. Now accomplishing works are being conducted on the site beyond the Congress Hall, the «Ufa-2015 SCO BRICS Office Group» informs. An area of 9,000 sq m will be paved with tiles of eight colours in the form of national ornament.

The amphitheatre is being equipped now with utilities necessary for conducting open air activities.

Cast-iron fencing and 70 street lights, granite stairs, drainage system, eco-tiles are installed in the territory adjacent to Ufa amphitheatre. The car parking of 1700 sq m is fully asphalted.

In July of the following year, at the time of the Summits holding, an exposition of seven yurts will be located in the Ufa amphitheatre. The "Ethno Village" will become a hallmark of Bashkortostan, where it is planned to present all aspects of life of our republic - from culture to innovative technology. After closing of the International Forums, the exhibition will be open to residents of the city for several months.

The Ufa amphitheatre will be available for holding concerts and other city events in six months - in spring 2015.

The Ufa amphitheatre is a popular venue among Ufa residents hosting scale cultural events on the slope near the Congress Hall. Two symphonic open air concerts and outdoor film screenings, initiated by "Ufanet" company were a great success here.
