Residents of Bashkortostan hold banking deposits for 246.8 billion rubles

UFA, 5 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Residents of Bashkortostan hold banking deposits for 246 billion 807.8 million rubles. Data on balances of individuals in Russian banks in the region are given by the National Bank RB as of October 1. According to the regulator, since the beginning of the year the amount of deposits of individuals grew by 0.6 percent in Bashkortostan. The nationwide trend is - plus 2.6 percent.

The total sum of corporate deposits in banks in the republic totaled 117 billion 397.4 million rubles as of October 1, which is by 22.7 percent more than at the beginning of 2014 (growth in Russia – by 20.5 percent).

As of October 1, 90 credit institutions are operating in Bashkortostan - they are represented by 1483 banking offices. In 2014 nine banks ceased operations in the republic, including the republican banks «My Bank. Hypothec» and «AF Bank». For nine months 82 units of credit institutions closed in Bashkortostan.
