For the first nine months of 2014 the index of industrial production in Ufa constituted 101 percent, the maximum increase was recorded in mining industry, the Deputy Head of the Ufa Administration Ildar Hasanov reported at the press conference.
The total investment amounted to 35.2 billion rubles in the first half of 2014, which is higher than last year by 6.1 percent.
Currently in Ufa 114 projects are implemented with about 174.2 billion rubles of investment, it will be created more than 16.4 thousand jobs. Another 51 projects (54.8 billion rubles volume) are at the stage of completion with creation of over five thousand jobs.
In particular, it is production of helicopter engines parts at UMPO. It is already spent 1.1 billion rubles; the total project cost is more than 10 billion rubles. It is construction of a four-storey building for vitamins production (JSC "Pharmstandard") with investment of 3.7 billion rubles. A new complex with a total cost of 2.8 billion rubles will be constructed at "Immunopreparat" company (Ufa branch of "Microgen").
There are also investment projects in the energy sector, in particular, the construction of HPP-5. The investor of the project is Bashkir Generation Company. For the entire period of the project it is planned to assimilate more than 10 billion rubles.
During January-September 2014 the retail trade turnover totaled 315.3 billion rubles. This is more than half of the republican total and exceeds the level of the previous year by 7.9 percent. The turnover of catering for the nine months, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 10.9 billion rubles, or 106.4 percent compared to last year.
For the first nine months of 2014 residential houses with total area of 458.8 thousand sq m were built and commissioned, which is higher than last year by six percent.
With regard to the average monthly salary, in January-August 2014 it amounted to 33,559 rubles among employees of large and medium-sized enterprises of Ufa, which is by 7.4 percent higher than for the same period of the last year. Ufa budget received 15.1 billion rubles, of which its own revenues constituted 8.1 billion rubles.
