Moody's affirms the credit rating of Bashkortostan "Baa3" with a change in the outlook

UFA, 23 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The International rating agency Moody's has confirmed the rating of 17 cities and regions of the Russian Federation, including the rating of the Republic of Bashkortostan. For 12 of them, including Bashkortostan, the outlook was changed from "stable" to "negative", "Interfax" reports referring to the Moody's.

Recall that the investment rating "Baa3" was assigned to the republic on June 27, 2013. At the moment it is one of the highest ratings among the subjects of the Russian Federation. On July 1 the rating was confirmed with a "stable" outlook. Then the agency's analysts noted historically high liquidity, low leverage, low costs of the public debt servicing, as well as positive dynamics of the region development.
